I believe the Harvest Moon is the first full moon after the first day of Fall. I'm open to correction.

I get confused. There's something to do with two full moons in one calendar month; I'm not sure if that's a Blue Moon or a Harvest Moon - but I think Slowboat is right.

It's just getting dark out now, and I don't think the moon will come over the eastern horizon for quite awhile this evening....but we'd like to see a cloud or two - our summer "monsoon season" consisted of exactly one half inch of decent spritz about 6 weeks ago.

Blue Moon is the second full moon in a month. It's also a wonderful little song.

I use to live in Palm Springs..Know La Quinta very well
Nice and crowded now it has grown...It's not dark here yet
I'm walking out back to see if the Moon is out yet...
