I'll bet you are right. Carl Rove said a few years ago that this issue was not to be discussed. It wasn't even discussed at the Republican convention. The Bush amnesty plan is going to be shoved down our throats as it was at the convention. No discussion.

IMO, I wish you guys were here to protect us. I have often thought, during the OIF deployment, how we need you; but more than that:
With you and the 135,000 other service men and women working hard at your jobs every day, fighting against jihad, keeping us safe from AQ and laying your lives on the line -- I want this country, the U.S.A., to be a place worth coming back to. Our freedom fighters deserve better than the current situation.

But I am told by fine upstanding Republicans that American's don't care about millions pouring in ever year illegally. That it's just really not a big issue.
