Yes, that was the infamous date. The lib trolls forced it, also forced most of us to change our names and delete the eddresses. There were a few holdouts, Like Gallutia. He didn't want to give them the satisfaction of feeling like they won.

You know, that's interesting... I can remember being on late at night before registration and there were so few of us... It would be like, "is anyone here?" and five minutes later someone would reply.

But I didn't remember much about the registration controversy... I was more like, "oh, we have to register, okay"

But I always hated that I took the name Altura. I had just been on a Star Trek forum and was using that name there as I thought it sounded spacy (ha) so I just brought it along. Oh, well.

Can't change it now, or would lose my NUMBER!
