I thought the same thing of Carter for years: nice man, lousy President. Now I believe that he is still bitter about losing to a man that he couldn't believe the American public loved (Reagan) and just can't move on.

He may have once been a nice man, but his loss to Ronald Reagan embittered him and he's never gotten over it. Ever since then, he's had a grudge against the American people and has done everything in his power to undermine Republican presidents.
