What he is probably lamenting is the fact that with all the snow birds staying North until Florida is repaired the vote will most decidedly swing Bush's way.
Very interesting point. Noting that Arizona is another state frequented by snowbirders maybe Teresa's comment that ''A state is not a whole state'' makes a little bit of sense after all. I did note that IF Carter commented about the snowbirders who vote twice (I doubt that he did), the BBC neglected to mention it.
Well put. His refusal to just shut up and butt out means that he puts on this revolting performance over and over. Surely there's a room in a nursing home somewhere with this man's name on it.
STFU Jimmy - why doesn't he take up golf or something?
This in propaganda terms is a pre-placement story.
This one and all the "Diebold in league with Bush" and the "electronic voting is suspect" and the "disenfranchisement" stories and the like are intended to place certain ideas with the public in prep for some pointed action.
The dems have already said they will use court challenges to win, but they cannot if there is a preponderance of public opinion against the idea.
By placing the right stories for long enough you can presispose enough people to accept the concept. In this case there are hundreds of articles and stories intended to raise doubt with the voting public about our voting system.
This is discussed in several of Edward Bernay's books. Bernays would start as early as four years before his action, and would place sometimes hundreds of stories, articles, and the like before springing his main event. He even founded advocacy organizations who did nothing but release articles to the press for two or three years, then have his own press releases quoting from the advocacy groups he founded to lend credence to his main goals.
When Kerry's people start the legal processes they have planned out, there will be thousands of people who will string together years of preplacement information and will say, "geez, that's right! I heard something about that on MTV a while back!"
Could we not send this cretin on a fact finding mission to Antarctica for the rest of his life?
Sounds like Jimmah is promising a million Palm Beach Counties for 2004.
HOW GEORGE BUSH STOLE THE ELECTION "Al, this is David Boies. I apologize for calling so late, but this won't wait." "Look, I know you've already conceded, but I've been talking to some folks in Florida and they think they can find enough extra votes down there to give you the state in a recount." |
Is this when the UN gets to provide the only "non-partisan" observers?
Time to go, Jimmy. I hear Miss Lillian calling.
Are there really nuts in a peanut? or is that just a rumor?
So looks like Florida isn't going JFKerry's way. Send in the lawyers, got to "reenact" Florida 2000.
Hey good point, I had never thought of that. All the NY yankees will be at home in NY this year because of the damage in Fla. They won't get to vote twice.
Note Carter aint worried about his own Home State else he have to face Hurricane Zell!
Gee, Jimmy why don't you check out the voting in Cuba. Of course there everyone votes and the results are never in question. </sarcasm
Memo to Jimmah: Go pound nails. Go pound sand. Just go!!!
Maybe there won't be so much voter fraud this time!
I'll be glad when JC goes to be with JC.
Worst ex-president ever.
From the original WP article:
Florida voting officials have proved to be highly partisan, brazenly violating a basic need for an unbiased and universally trusted authority to manage all elements of the electoral process.
Duh! And the counties with the most problems are the Dem ones.
One difference I've seen between our elections and many foreign ones that need to be observed is that the foreign ones often require thumb- or fingerprints with an indelible ink to prevent multiple votes and provide proof of ID. The election officials can't even ask for a $%##^ ID from a voter, much less a thumbprint. If we were to have ID requirements, that would cut into the Dem vote fraud so Jimmah won't even discuss that.
He's bloody insane.
