Teresa seems to have little trouble finding the bar in every stop on the campaign trail that is her real problem. I feel for someone who suffers from alcoholism. It is a terrible affliction.
Is this author really coming out and saying what reporters are whispering everywhere? That Teresa is an alcoholic?

Hey, cut her a break.
When she was old and irresponsible...
She was old and irresponsible.

And here I was thinking that Teresa's 'sauciness' and 'sass' would be a turn on for voters. That's what I heard from some Hollywood person.

I wanted to say something about the way Teresa spoke at the convention, but thought it might be rude, but she acted as though she was druged up, slurring her words, talking like she was drunk or on pills. I thought it was just me, but several of my friends agreed with me. Maybe she does have a problem, it's not the first time I have heard the bar comment.

Nice post. I especially like this:
"To every Kerry tirade during the upcoming debates, all that President Bush has to do is smile wryly, and say Flip-flop, You may have the remainder of my time to speak, John
"
Wouldn't that be sweet? This writer hit a brilliant idea here IMHO.

Unless this writer knows this is as fact, I find it distateful to imply that she has a drinking problem.

I agree. I won't pile on someone else's pain.
There has been a lot of speculation since the "Where's the bar?" episode, and Kerry's angry and embarassed reaction.
The whole thing makes me think back to Kitty Dukakis.

I was going to use the same quote. She was overheard asking some reporters the other day about where the bar was located. And she seems to dance and swoon around is some of the terms I have heard used of late.
I think she may have a problem.

You draw your own conclusions.

Did 'sauciness' really refer to 'the sauce?'

So obsessed are the Kerry campaign operatives with energizing the base that all else is ignored. Recall that Clinton received a scant 42% or so of the vote during the 92 elections. [snip]
The Carville-Begala team is making the same mistake they did during the Clinton campaign, albeit in the absence of a spoiler like Ross Perot
[snip]
The Clinton operatives will deliver up 42% of the vote again. Thats a landslide for Bush.
Dick Morris also said this a couple of weeks ago. Of course it may be that Begala and
Evil Incarnate James Carville
are plants in the Kerry campaign to be sure there's no incumbent Democrat in the White House in 2008.
To: SkyPilot
I think the bar reference is referring to her use of language common to a bar - shove it, scumbags, 4 more years of hell, etc.
