Intermittently, will scroll up a few lines when I click a link or a dropdown box instead of the expected action. Will not return to the same point in a long page when I return to it with the browser's back arrow.

I have the same problems, but I'm running version 1.5.20031.717, which is not the most current one. It may be time to update.

This has been fixed with 1.7.3 (Version 1.0 Preview Release). That was a sore spot with me too, but now it's almost a perfect browser. You just can't beat tabbed browsing, especially on a site like Free Republic.
