The GOP is going to have to get it through its thick head that abortion is not an issue for the Federal Government to decide, and that NO Supreme Court will EVER overturn Roe v. Wade.
If you don't like abortion, use your church as a vehicle to express your view.
It's like tilting at windmills to think Roe will ever be overturned. It won't.
So why is any Federal candidates opinion relavent?

It's not the GOP that has to get it through their head it's you that have to get it through yours.
Pro aborts will never ever be able to win a National Republican Primary.
The GOP has never nomonated a pro abort and they will not for the forseeable future.
If you don't like the GOP than that's just too bad.

That is exactly why Roe should be overturned. Abortion IS NOT a Federal issue yet Roe IMPOSES a one size fits all Federal Solution. All overturning Roe, which is LOUSY law, does IS RETURN THE ISSUE TO THE STATES. Overturning Roe does NOT make Abortion illegal, it just removes it from Federal Jurisdiction.

No, I think you're going to have to get it through your head that if my brethren and I are forced to choose between God and Mammon then the Republican Party will be stripped of its footsoldiers and all the $20 donors who financed the Republican Revolution. If you think any RINO fiscal conservative, social libertarian will be able to get through the primaries and the national election you're dreaming. In 2008 you can go back to being the permanent minority party.
