They are stopping shoppers and inviting them to complete voter registration forms on the spot. That does NOT make these new registrants likely voters.

OK, I've seen two schools of thought going on here and they're not the same thing. So let's get clear.

On the one hand, the kids at the mall signing people up, and those signing up, are not the concern here. Those people are likely to forget what day the election is.

What we're really concerned about are those registrations that are submitted fraudulently, as in the dead people and nursing home residents. These are registrations that will be used by very young, healthy, and ambulatory Dem activists who will go from one precinct to the next, voting for Kerry in each... fraudulently.

Does that clear up this issue?

Yes, I understand what you are saying. But when people get worried about the numbers of people registering, the mall kids should be factored in.
