I have a tough time believing there are enough votes in the African-American and Bluehair communities to close the male gap that much.

Conventional wisdom states that blacks don't vote much, but seniors are big voters.

Kerry will get 90% of the black vote. The question is, 90% of what. So far, no enthusiasm for Kerry in the black community. Edwards, yes, the second JFK after Clinton. Kerry, nope.

One would think (hope) that over the years as the FDR Bluehairs pass from the church militant to the church triumphant that their place on the senior citizens roll would be taken by people who chose to depend more on their own retirement planning and less on Social Security and the government.
