Great link. I'll have to pass it to my son who recently pcs'd from Eglin to Korea. His truck is probably in one of those photos ;-)

Here is a interesting link to a buoy near the Bahamas. Looks to be right in the path. Should be interesting to watch for the next few hours.

Pretty cool graph of the data too.

The anemometer at Settlement Point is on shore, in the mouth of the harbor at West End. In ordinary conditions it doesn't give an accurate view of the breeze at sea, due to the trees, etc, causing windspeed to lessen. However, I imagine it'll give a good picture today, if it stays up.

Frances didn't blow it down, but we'll see if it can survive Jeanne.
