I like Kerry the Hunter's Ode to Bambi:
"I had a talk with a deer today
we met upon the road some way .
. . between his frequent snorts
He asked me if I sought his pelt
cause if I did he said he felt
quite out of sorts!"
Maybe he will write a poem about the terrorists. Is that what he meant by a more sensitive war?
"I had a talk with a jihadist today
who was he (going) to bomb, he wouldn't say.
. . between my horse-like snorts
He asked me if, at his soft touch, I would melt
and, blushing, I confessed I liked to be felt
in that secret "special place" in my shorts!"
