This is disinformation. They want you to believe that since Lockhart did not have the memos they could not have originated from within the DNC. That gives us more reason to believe that they did in fact originate there.

I tend to agree- it seems logical to me that Lockhart NEEDED the docs to come from Burkett in order to provide some cover for the fact that the DNC ad WITH the memos came out the day after the 60 Minutes report.
