Statement by Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman Gov. Marc Racicot (On Kerry attacking Allawi)
George W. Bush ^ | September 23, 2004

Posted on 09/23/2004 2:36:25 PM PDT by RWR8189

ARLINGTON, VA – Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman Gov. Marc Racicot today issued the following statement:

"Today, John Kerry showed he lacks the judgment and credibility to lead the United States of America to victory in the War on Terror.

"His attacks on the veracity of the Iraqi Prime Minister's historic address to Congress reveal a stunning propensity to take political cheap shots for his own benefit by denigrating our allies in this important struggle against a global terror network. President Bush is proud to stand with Prime Minister Allawi while John Kerry attacks progress and resolve and advocates a policy of retreat and defeat in the face of terror.

"John Kerry said today, 'And when you people judge me and the American people judge me on this, I want you to judge me on the full record.' We're confident the American people will."

***Kerry is despicable. Verbal attacks on the Iraqi Prime Minister? Is he really that nuts?***

Yes, he IS! And he won't stop until he convinces the American people that we should pull out of Iraq the same way he convinced them to pull out of Viet Nam, leaving the people there to be slaughtered.

HE'S DOING THE SAME THING HE DID IN '72.

At last! An end to the charade! Kerry is going to run these final weeks as his true self, a left-wing America-basher who always finds much nicer things to say about the French and our enemies (OK, same thing) than about America or our allies. His deranged words this week can be hung around his neck as an albatross to doom him in the election.

This connects nicely with the story McAwful tried to start that the nefarious Karl Rove was behind the CBS forgeries. All of the Republican spinmeisters should start saying things like,

"Karl Rove DID do something for the Democrats, he chose their lousy candidate!"

and

"The real right-wing conspiracy is that Terry McAuliffe and John Kerry were chosen by Karl Rove to wreck the Democratic Party."

Someone should come up with better, funny, snappier quotes than those and circulate them far and wide.

Kerry: Allawi's Take on Iraq Unrealistic

Associated Press Writer

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said Thursday that Iraq's Ayad Allawi was sent before Congress to put the ``best face'' on Bush administration policy.
