I didn't see a sarcasm tag, so forgive me in advance if you were being sarcastic.
There was no comment in the article about the lady's health or her relatives. I know 76 year olds that I'd put up against Tonya Harding and they might win - and some who can barely get to the bathroom.
So, you think, what, that she egged him on - that she thought it was okay to be raped so didn't fight it - that she should have had the presence of mind to live with a male relative (probably non-existent, and if existing, probably not willing to live there.)

The point I was trying to get acreoss was :
Do ANY of the neighbors hear anything?
Did nobody look in on her?
Did nobody notice that this kid came repeatedly into the lady's house?
If she did tell somebody, why the hell wasn't she listened to?
did anyone at ALL care?
Or is it simple French-style apathy?
