Scroll down to the picture of the girl with "W" hair. Right click on her picture. Look at the file name.
Did you do any good? What'd they say?
Karl Rove hacked the Chron site and changed the file name himself don'cha know?
Time to let the Houston Chronicle know that their little hidden bias has been exposed.... If the media cannot fairly report it should not be in the business.
Nope, Reuters didn't do this. The Chronicle did.
Good one.
Play nice now.
pretty ticked id imagine... probably would want a public apology from the paper...
Subject: Your paper's website bias
In the article "Freedom to ring in Iraq, Bush says" there is a picture of a young girl.

Brainwashed Child?
I am one of many at FreeRepublic who will gladly help expose the Houston Chronicle's agenda.
This looks like the Chronicle's internal file procedure. Here's yahoo's!

The Houston Comical is an abomination. Rather than catering to its conservative clientele, the Comical would rather proselytize. Since it runs virtually no pro-Bush op-eds, I penned one. They never printed it. And that, I fear, is the fate of all who challenge their view. They cannot counter the truth and so they silence it. The MSM is a lumbering troll, befuddled and stupid but still towering and powerful. Fortunately, the cavalry charge of the New Media will fell the biased beast.
I'm sure he'll blame his impending unemployment on Bush.
I guess that's not as bad. I'm glad it's documented.
I wouldn't let the Chronicle know. I would send this to everyone else so they can see what is really going on.
Let's make the Chronicle look as foolish as possible.
Now. . .
It makes me wonder how the news captions other jpeg photos. Might be worth it for Freepers to start right clicking on other pictures (say of President Bush) and see what pops up!
Nope. It still reads, "brainwashedchild."
Right click and hit, "Properties.
Wrong picture, let the page fully load.
just sent my email...
I saw your story titled In the article "Freedom to ring in Iraq, Bush says" there is a picture of a young girl and you have the name of the image labeled as "brainwashedchild".
Do you think its funny to slander children? I don't. Do you think her family would find it amusing to have their daughter slandered in the press like that? I don't.
Is this a common practice for your rag?
This is the second time today that I did something stupid. LOL
Yep just like all the Vet's that sat silent when Kerry made his speech.
Just like all of us.
Just like every sane person in this country.
And 9/11 must have been a mass hallucination to.
