It's the producer, MARY MAPES, who did the legwork. I think the whole organization needs to go down the tubes. I think CBS passed by the P-Trap a long time ago - this just pushed them into the leech field.

Very true, but the connection seems kinda thin, at least where Lockhart is involved. So far at least. To me, it seems the eye of this storm is MARY MAPES.

This is what Ive been thinking... Rush mentioned this the other day......
The "Sugar Coated" thing. Bill Richarson in NM said that, McAwful said it, it's in the memos, other DNC people have all been saying "sugar coated."
What are the odds that the phrase "sugar coated" is the spin du jour, and it just so happens to appear in the long long memos?
That's better evidence of a DNC/Kerry/CBS connections than one phone call from Burkett, in my opinion. :)

Mapes wanted the docs, Burkett wanted to talk to Kerry campaign, Joe agreed to talk to giver of info..It smells..Burkett gave explosive info in February ans Joe did not know this?..
