Very true, but the connection seems kinda thin, at least where Lockhart is involved. So far at least. To me, it seems the eye of this storm is MARY MAPES. Although I think Lockhart is lying through his teeth about what he talked to Burkett about, I don't think he did anything wrong on calling him. Of course he's going to call a source who he thinks has dirt on W. The unethical person here was Mary Mapes for calling Lockhart in the first place.

.Chris does show a glimmer of his liberal but honest self on this issue....His love affair with Clarke,etc and anti war bias had me turn him off completely but I watch all the shows I can now since this Rathergate story. He and Scarborough have been better than Fox (!) on this story, I have to say. They've had better commentary, and better guests. Chris really seemed shocked/appalled that CBS would consider Burkett a credible source.
