Scarborough understands the passion that is felt by conservatives like those that populate this forum when it comes to Rathergate. When Joe and Pat play pitch and catch at Rather's expense,it makes for great television. I have pretty much stopped watching the cable news networks. I like Britt Humes program and Scarborough Country. I need to put a blood pressure monitor on when I watch Joe's show, I will bet it is a lot lower than when I used to watch that blowhard O'Reilly.

Egg on his face?..As Debra Orrin said on Hardball..a simple google of Burkett's name would have clued him in to the years of accusations and real animosity against Bush..
Chris had had Burkett on after the Feb info from Burkett and can't believe CBS would put credence in Burkett..Said the networks should have tuned in and watched his interview to get a clue about Burkett..
.Chris does show a glimmer of his liberal but honest self on this issue....His love affair with Clarke,etc and anti war bias had me turn him off completely but I watch all the shows I can now since this Rathergate story.
We need to apply the MSM "second amendment standard" to all of the MSM.
The standard has been applied as such. Whenever a gun crime is committed, the MSM holds all gun owners guilty by association, they deduct that guns are evil, henceforth, all gun owners are as evil as the perp who commits a gun crime. We can do no less on Rathergate.
CBS and Dan Rather have committed a horrendous act of journalistic betrayal to Americans who believed an honest and fair press was vital to our country's future as a free nation, now we can no longer believe. Therefore, all other MSM types are also guilty of being democrat left wing political hacks along with Rather and CBS.
If the MSM cannot regulate themselves, there must be federal government laws and regulations to control out of control jounalists. After all, even if it saves just one life, it is for the children.
End of story, courage.
