I'll admit this is a little audacious. But it might be worth playing a liiiiiittle "what if" regarding Mapes and how that all came about. Is it just (don't lock me up just yet) possible that the Abu Gharib photos (oddly, all taken on one day) were in some fashion instigated? or that Mapes heard there was some abuse, and "arranged" for photos to be taken?

The military was already investigating the prisoner abuse in Iraq,and asked the press to hold off because there were going to be people charged. She ran with it while it was being fully investigated and could have blown the whole thing.She is a left wing twit.
