They are hampered, though, by the fact that they might actually have to send reporters to Texas to find some answers. That's so beneath them, you know.

I read it, and it's not nearly as good as anything the Washington Post has done. The writing still has that holding-their noses "eewww" tone to it. They are terrified that they are going to have to change their minds about the candidates in this election.
