'There are a number of serious questions that remain unanswered and they need to be answered,' says White House spokesman Scott McClellan.

'Bill Burkett, who CBS says now was their source, is not an unimpeachable source, as CBS has claimed.'

'There are news reports of Burkett having senior level contact with the Kerry campaign. That raises questions.'

'What were those contacts and what was discussed? Who is the original source of the documents?'

'Who is responsible for forging these documents?

Wasn't Fortunate Son aired by MSNBC?
If so wasn't this a web of DNC - CBS - Marybeth Cahil -Kerry-MSNBC-Texas Dems\
All of these and more have entered into a VAST LEFT WING CONSPIRACY

Who do we know in the Kerry campaign that "doctors" documents?

Could it possibly be Kerry? Don't we have the documents altered on some of his medals. Apparently he sees nothing wrong in falsifying documents to better himself.

Break this story and maybe people will start believing you instead of laughing at your "reporting".

This is where we find out what the priorities of the Big Three are. If they are concerned with reporting the news (and the truth) they will break the story.

One ya step in the other falls on ya ......an it's a DNC sh*t storm out there !

From a high level CBS strategy session:

"In strategic terms, FReepers have cut the old media in half... the civilian press are about to wet their pants and we've heard even Cronkite's going to say Rathergate is now unwinnable."

"In other words, it's a huge shit sandwich, and we're all gonna have to take a bite."

WOW !!

I called CBS News at 212-975-3691 and asked "Why Dan Rather's statement did not include an apology to the American People and the President"

Answer: "I don't believe the President wants an apology"

Yes, and he'd better be able to back up his claim, or within minutes fifty people who know better will be all over him like white on rice.

Hey! Representing the MulticulturalPCDiversityRainbow Council, we just wanted to put you in your proper place by informing you from our higher vantage ground that there happens to be brown rice, too, ya know. (And it's even healthier for you, carb-boy).

And then there's million of rice makeover recipes that give it an orange-to-whatever-color-is-under-the-sun look. So you just stick that "white on rice" crud back in the KKK hood it emerged from before we log a hate speech complaint about you.

Have a beautiful day!

I think you've struck a vein there! Staffers follow the lead of their management. It's the well they dip into for creative ideas they know their boss will respond well to.

Look for a non-honorable discharge for Kerry which Clinton changed during pardongate. Berger removed notations of it during his great purge from the national archives.

I saw something with Kitty Kelly's name on it up near the checkout registers at the local Barnes and Noble. It looked like a small box. Was that her new book?

Hunter Thompson once said that Nixon's idea of a good joke was a paraplegic who couldn't reach high enough to vote Democratic. But Max just made himself the joke and ensured many folks won’t be reaching for that demo-lever on 11/2. The post-op on this will be fascinating. It’s going to look a lot like an old “Fugitive” rerun. Who was that one-armed man?

Anyone want to take a crack at forging pardongate docs that show that Kery was either non-honorably or dishonorably discharged? We really need to help Dan-o out.

If he can air a 60 Minutes II piece with "we haven't been able to authenticate" docs on both presidential candidates, then CBS can claim that there was no bias: It's covered both parties with the same standardless slop.

Kerry knows more about memogate than Nixon knew about Watergate @ this point in time--would be my guess.

Aren't the "cute" little jokes about Cleland's handicap a little below the belt?

Are they funny?

It makes perfect sense why the 180 wasn't signed by Kerry. In Washington there are no original ideas. Just recycled tactics.

If a copy of Kerry's discharge papers can be obtained, there had better be no evidence of a word processor in the document.

Kerry put his own bullet into the russian revolver game he was playing on Bush I bet. It's his turn to play now!

I think they are. He used his handicap to make himself something he wasn't. You think Kerry would have sent him to Crawford a few weeks back if he was an able bodied man? No. He is a gimmick for Kerry.

And Carl Cameron is now reporting on FOX that Kerry had been pushing the 60 Minutes interview for weeks to the press scribes on the plane..

If that is true that is extrodinary news because it means the Kerry campaign was aware and or complicit with CBS from the start with the forged memo's and their source!

You are just on target today as one can get! While I find that scene disturbing, it's one of the best examples of situational ethics among good men when confronted by greater evil that I can ever think of!

It's an amazingly written scene. As was the Christopher Walken, watch scene.
