I think it might have been Cleland instead of Kerry..Carl travels with the Kerry campaign.

A November landslide would be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Democrats wouldn't have anything legitimate to whine about. Their growing leftist fringe will just continue to draw more Americans away from the party and expose the growing band of leftist kooks for what they are.

Get the popcorn ready folks. November 2 is most possibly going to be a lot of fun.

This one is more like Watergate than any of the others.

Like Watergate, it involves a campaign to elect a President. Crimes were committed and the candidate was toast because he covered up the names of the people involved with the planning and execution of the crime.

This is worse than Watergate, because the underlying crime there was a "third rate burglary". Here, it was a fraud and a conspiracy involving one of the leading news agencies in the US and the World.

Ofcourse, CBS is still leaving open the possiblity that they were duped by the GOP.

It was a Bush-Cheney-Rove conspiracy, worked out on a strategic chessboard where the figures represented various vulnerable Democratic characters and movements to certain squares represented actions those characters would take if the Repubs did this or that...much the same way a play-calling football coach detailing his analysis of what the opposition will do in response to certain gamebreaker plays.

There's at least one major problem for CBS to keep introducing this possible ploy: IT MUST CONCEDE THAT INDEED THE DEMS AND THEMS ARE ON THE SAME TEAM. Yeah, I know, what's so big about confessing what is already obvious to all? It's called the veneer of objectivity.

Kerry Campaign spokespersons now admit there is an upside to the memo scandal. While Kerry had not given press interviews for six weeks and was taking more heat than a space shuttle O-Ring over it, the Rather flap has moved press demands over toward Rather and CBS for the time being................Kerry press secretary McCurry now announced a revised candidate availability schedule for the balance of the campaign. He will be available for a turkey supper on November 25th for questions.

Interesting...IIRC, in August Burkett posted an e-mail to 500+ Democrat contacts; it's been mentioned as hinting at dirty tricks to come. Was Rather's daughter on that list?

Agree. My CBS station manager isn't taking any calls.

Anyone want to take a bet on when Cameron's book is coming out? (This is just pure speculation on my part.) But, this is the second campaign that he's covered for FOX.

I just LOVE that Cleland is mixed up in this now.

Yeah, who'd have thought he'd out on a limb for Kerry?

You know what would be great? If the McClellan would display one of those family tree/flow charts that the NY Times and Newsweek produced to link the Swift Vets to the Bush campaign.

DUmmies labeling Buckhead as the culprit

< shakes head > If Rove didn't exist, they'd have to invent him. They are completely, utterly irrational at this point.

I said it at a cost. My go to hell record just took two more registers for saying that. I'll go feed some meals on wheels to make up for it though!

Hi, girl, you obtained the Pentagon Papers for the Globe in 1971.

Who ran the CBS faked documents by you for approval? It was obvious that you were aware of their existence.

Just asking.

!!!
