Teresa: My Critics Are 'Scumbags'
Hot-tempered would-be first lady Teresa Heinz Kerry has once again lashed out at her critics, this time during a Pittsburgh television interview where she called them "scumbags."
The ugly outburst, revealed nationally for the first time in a engthy profile in the Sept. 27 issue of the New Yorker magazine, is the most outrageous so far by the billionaire ketchup heiress, and pushes the bounds of behavior voters might accept in a first lady.

Scumbag
Goon
Liar
Well either you like sKerry's healthcare plan, or you left out 'Idiot'...
Maria Teresa Thierstein Simões-Ferreira Heinz-Kerry is a living testament to the veracity of that statement, in at least one instance.
First lady?????
When can we expect the drumbeat of media pressure for an apology from her to begin? IIRC, a Republican congressional leader was harrangued for his use of this very word WRT Bill Clinton. Who was that?
Well she should know. She has had a lot of experience with scumbags.
Rick would point out to Teresa, "That is NOT a Cliff Richards thing to do."
Neil would say, "Ooooh nooooo!"
Then Vyv would slam her head into a wall.
Mike? He's CEO of Enron-UK.
don't forget: idiot, unless you want Kerry's health care "plan"
I thought someone who wanted to be a first lady would be gracious.
"That's no lady. That's my wife!"
Can you imagine Laura Bush using the term "scumbag"? I can't, unless it would be to descibe a child molester. Even then, she would say it privately.
She continues to prove she is just a trashy broad that got lucky with the Heinz fortune. The last type I would ever want to see as First Lady in the White House. Zero class.
Yes Teereeeassaa (or what ever the pronuciation is today)
I am a scumbag! :)
Don't they have drugs for that?
nah - hitlery's eyes are down, not up.
Funny how the "New Yorker" works to protect the sweet innocent Mrs Heinz. Yeah, they would do the same for a Republican. (Well, not really)
In an effort to put Heinz Kerry's vulgar verbiage in context, the New Yorker writer explained, "I doubt that she knows the literal meaning of 'scumbag,' but perhaps, after forty years in America, nearly thirty of them as a political wife, observing how the flaws and contradictions of a personality as complex as hers are melted down for ammunition by the other side, she should have learned it."
Remember when the media went ballistic when Congressman Dan Burton called Clintoon a scumbag?
Don't expect a similar response.
