NY is a pretty big state, I'm at the Western side of it where most of the decient folks live!
When the time comes, I'm gonna make my move back where I belong!
Tom Brokaw and Walter Cronkite were the main cheerleaders of the 'Greatest Generations' willing acceptance of the socialism they fought against in WWII. They have become socialists, and led the rest of the country into it's maw. Thankfully, a lot of the younger folks are beginning to see the false reporting the MSM is spreading. Thank God for the Internet and it's lack of 'gate-keepers'. Before you could only catch the MSM if they lied by commission. Now they are being caught by that more pernicious method of lying -- lying by omission.
Good article; thank you.
"Good article; thank you."
You're far too nice to this first rate hack, yank. I really appreciate it! Thank you for reading it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have any reason to write it.
That'd be a good idea! They came back, raised children, and made something of themselves without the benefit of the Ketchup Queen. Great point!
Thanks for the ping!
Roger, that!
You're welcome, ma'am!
Someone also emptied the Social Security bin either yesterday or more recently. As I understand they left an "I owe You" of sorts.
Of course this generation hasn't monetized debt or increased the soaring deficit against the welfare of the next generation etc, etc.....
I agree wholeheartedly----many times I have said that each generation faces and handles situations that may be unique to the times they live in and to which no others can really appreciate---the colonists with bleeding feet at Valley Forge--the soldiers at Fort McHenry--all those who bled and died during the Civil War--the men who climbed the hill in Cuba--the thousands in the terrible trench warfare of WW1--those at 'frozen Chosin' in Korea--the rotting jungles of Nam--the hot sands of the Middle East today trying to help people who had no hope of freedom before we went there---each of those who served in the military at some period of our nations history was part of their "greatest generation"--WW2 folks were no better or worse than any other, we just did "what had to be done" to protect our families and America--I am proud to have had a part in WW2 ('42-'47) but never though I was "great"--don't forget that Tom Brokaw made beaucoup bucks from his book but continyes to sell his socialist line of s--t every nite on the news--if he had any real love for the USA he would try telling the truth or shut the hell up.
BTTT for Vietnam Veterans!
Nice article. Thank you Vietnam vets.
You better help pull it off in that battleground state.
Doin' my best. I feel a slightly more pro-Dubya atmosphere in my neck of the woods -- which is very much a swing district -- than in 2000. But don't take it to the bank.
Ping!
Ping!
Bravo!!! Encore!!!
We have a problem with "Clueless America", cleverly fostered in by the Fonda-Kerry-Newton-Angela Davis division of my generation. The price of freedom means nothing to them. It is what price can I extract?
BTTT!!!!!!!
Ya'll, this is perfect for our Military Monday. Wonderful pictures of some of our WWII heros--MUST SEE!
