Why is Rush the only one saying that Halliburton is the only company that does what it does, except for Schlumberger - which is French? Also, how many no-bid contracts did Halliburton get from the toon?

Look at how this Administration handles all the lies coming out of the RATS...they let the RATS talk and talk and talk..and then when the moment is right, they go for the jugular. Cheney will destroy Edwards in the debate. The media will try to claim that Edwards won or it was "a tie" but the public will see the truth. Edwards will look like a wet-behind-the-ears kid when Cheney is done with him.

I'm not sure how many, but it was several billion dollars worth of no-bid work in Bosnia and Kosovo.

Amazingly, one of Kerry's top campaign aides/supporters receives $500K a year to lobby for Halliburton. I believe that was mentioned by Rush last week.

(I should note that the way Congress & govt works most large companies feel obligated to have a lobbying firm(s) with GOP and Dem connections. That way the company can minimize risk of govt inquisition or harmful regulations against them from either party.)
