Statement from RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Contact: Christine Iverson
202-863-8614

Washington, DC-RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke made the following statement today

"Bill Burkett, Democrat activist and Kerry campaign supporter, passes information to the DNC; Kerry campaign surrogate Max Cleland discusses "valuable" information with Bill Burkett; Bill Burkett talks to "senior" Kerry campaign officials; an apparently unsuspecting news organization uses faked forged memos and an interview with Ben Barnes at the same time the Democratic National Committee launched Operation Fortunate Son; and Kerry campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill was among the first to call Ben Barnes and congratulate him after his interview. The trail of connections is becoming increasingly clear."

....and Kerry is probalby running around screaming "Attention all hands! Stand-by for High Seas and Heavy rolls"....life is going to get very ugly for the Dimocraps and CBS in very short order.

The Kerry campaign coordinating with CBS is a unambiguous violation of "Campaign Finance Reform" - PLUS forging those Federal Documents is gonna give the Texas Forger another nervous breakdown - maybe he'll just have to serve his sentence under House Arrest..... and then Dan Blather can do a follow-up interview interview with the bastard after he's convicted

Rather went to check out old folks home and order a nice white coat in case he gets out.

How long ago was it that Max Cleland was in Texas to deliver a letter to President Bush?I wonder if that was the only thing he was doing in Texas.

CBS's latest response is a coded call to their supporters, naming who to go after.

This is proof enough that the RNC is not staffed with weenies. They know how to spin/drive this story.

Everyone who ever got involved in the National Guard accusations is involved in this, either throug direct participation in the "reconstruction" of documents, through foreknowledge of the CBS story, or through cheerleading.

They are all thoroughly hosed.

Ant that goes double for Michael Moore. He is laying low, but this stuff is the backbone of his movie.

Look at it this way, Mr. Cleland: there is one kind of "cell numbers" and then there is another kind of "cell numbers."

This should keep the Kerry camp tied up for at least another week while they get all tangled up in questions of who told what to whom and when. In the meantime, the candidate veers back and forth between talking about what happened 35 years in Vietnam and defending his voting record for the past 20 years. Chaos continues to reign in the bowels of campaign headquarters as the knives are out between the Kennedy operatives and the Clinton cabal of cretins.
In my opinion, Hitlery is the best campaign assistant that Karl Rove ever had.

"Here, let me put a little salt in that wound you have."

I'm thinking the RNC has confirmation of exactly what went on.
