With so many issues -- such as the environment and Iraq, with which to attack Bush -- why this ancient NG stuff? Who cares?
Even if true, Bush's record was far better than Clinton's non-record. If I recall right, these same people raised no big fuss over Clinton.
They think that since the Swiftees scored on Kerry that this NG junk will score on Bush. They're wrong for two reasons. First, Bush is the incumbent and has a track record, so biography doesn't matter for him like it does for the challenger. Second, Bush never made his service a campaign issue, as Kerry did.
They are miscalculating IMHO.
