Ya know, CBS really shouldn't have lied about what somebody WHO IS STILL ALIVE said and did. Sometimes you can get caught that way...

I'm SUPPOSED to be working right now, but I got the door closed and am locked on to this thread for the afternoon. Woohoo!

Well, I have two of "each" but they will not be repopulating the world, if you get my drift. :-)

ABC News has an exclusive interview with Col. Stoudt, the retired colonel who allegedly pressured Killian to cover for Lt. Bush during his Air National Guard stint according to forged documents aired by CBS News.Ruh Roh. SeeBS used a source that is alive.

Nothing to see here. This is a mere Colonel. What would he know? He is obviously lying. We have already heard from a pool secretary that the memos were accurate.(/sarcasm)

''I love the guy,'' Staudt said of Bush. ''I'm so tired of this negative crap about him that I'd like to volunteer to build a barn and take you press guys out behind it and kick your asses.''I bet he could get Zell Miller to help him build the barn, *and* kick the asses!

Besides, I'm sure this went all the way up to the highest levels of the Pentagon. Where have we heard that before?

Heh. I was hoping Staudt would finally give an interview and put the nail in Dan's coffin!
To: GaltMeister
Someone please do a photo with "Dangbad Dan's" face superimposed on Badgdad Bob's body. I think he actually has surpassed BB with disinformation in his career and should replace BB (or perhaps BB should replace DD at CBS).

This deserves more than a link!:
Staudt doesn't seem to be a big fan of the media or the Guard story. Here's what he told the Spokane Spokesman-Review earlier this year:
"I love the guy," Staudt said of Bush. "I'm so tired of this negative crap about him that I'd like to volunteer to build a barn and take you press guys out behind it and kick your asses."

To: NYCVirago
I'd feel better if I had some corroborating link but ABC News' website is silent that I can see. That makes me nervous. We're coming up to the top of the hour now so let's see if they report this again.
They're pimping one of their news magazine shows with this so I'll try to catch which one.

...MUST grocery shop soon. What I do is try to get caught up on the most interesting threads, then time a dash to the store during one of Rush's top o' the hour monologues. It helps that I have a home business (billable hours really down in the last two weeks - wonder why?) and am a Mr. mom.
Oops. Gotta dash to Aldi now.
