Glad to hear about this, that makes me a Cherokee. Maybe I can get some kind of affirmative action?
I was advised by a Shawnee tribe in Oklahoma that I was 1/32 Shawnee and eligible for tribal membership about 12 years ago. I laughed it off. Now they're planning a casino or two in Ohio. Might not have been a good move on my part.
