Not so long ago there was a guy who nearly assaulted a kid in order to catch a foul ball. (?TX I think) His face was on TV as I recall. AS I recall he couldn't hide and a number of people were very unhappy with him.
Seems like if you're gonna do something sleezy you shouldn't get caught on camera.
Character is what you do when no one was watching. This guy probably thought no one was watching.
