Thanks.
My daughter has been attending political events/functions with me since she was 4 months old and I was working as a greeter for my State Representative on Election day 1998.
We used to joke about her being an honorary member of the district Republican Executive Committee, because she attended nearly as many meetings as I did. (hubby wasn't always home from work early enough for me to attend alone)
I worked on Democratic campaigns since I was five years old - I helped one current Dem in Congress on his election (back in 1992, before I converted through marriage/osmosis). It is the best education for the electoral process and American government and I encourge it (though, Dems were really sick folks) parents to involve their children.
There is no excuse for this. Republicans never, ever treated us (three kids in our family) poorly or embarrassed my mother, but then again, I'm being redundant - I was on the other side.
This ticks me off!
