Two problems with this:
1) Union thugs are the lowest form of human life, and cannot be expected to act civilized;
2) He and another child of his were apparently attacked at a Gore rally in 2000.
No, you haven't dug a hole. Everyone is different. Perhaps he should have learned a lesson from the past incidents. But perhaps, it further solidified his belief to voice his opinion, and to teach his children to persevere at all cost, no matter how great the odds are.
