Beck is conducting good journalism.
He is playing devils advocate, doing cross examination in a professional manner, and the father is passing with flying colors, and the DU crowd will HATE this.
The story seems airtight.

I am open to the TRUTH whatever it turns out to be. Beck was firm in testing the TRUTH of the matter, like an objective, unbiased reporter. That is what we needed. He provided a good service today. He plugged any holes in the story that were apparant, and that the liberals are trying to exploit. They will have less excuses and spin now as a result.
This dramatic story is going to push thousands of voters in WV into the Bush camp, I predict.

My HUNCH (based solely on nothing in particular) - The union guy really is a union guy. Did the father go to the airport hoping to get accosted, and therefore get his sympathy story in the paper for this election cycle? Perhaps; there is a pattern. But I certainly can't get into the man's head. What's REALLY quite a coincidence is that an AP photographer was right there. Nobody would ever accuse AP of collaborating with OUR side.
