This poor woman is in a very intense period of grieving. It sounds like she could use a little more support froom the Army in geeting the facts about her son's death- assuming she is truly ready for "acceptance"-maybe she is not. Still in anger and denial now that the numbness is wearing off.
I would hope the DNC does not make use of this to exploit her.
Her son, Seth Dvorin, was killed in Iraq in early February.
Dvorin's father, who happens to be a great guy, is a former detective from New Brunswick, NJ. (or it might be North Brunswick)
The father remains truly proud of his son, and expressed some shame to the local media about his ex-wife, who continues to go around the country throwing dirt on her son's memory.
I am astonished that someone at the Laura Bush rally in Hamilton, NJ did not recognize Sue Niederer and prevent her from getting inside.
Niederer must have obtained a ticket through a friend because I don't think the Mercer County GOP organization would have given her one.
The book "Friendly Fire" documents the grief gone paranoid of a mother who lost a son in VietNam. It is a sad saga and this woman may be heading down the same road. If so, and based on the case in the book above, there isn't enough paper in the Pentagon to satisfy her.
