A woman wearing a T-shirt with the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of a soldier killed in Iraq was detained Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by First lady Laura Bush.
Police escorted Sue Niederer of Hopewell, N.J., from a rally at a firehouse after she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb.

Great way to honor your son's memory. He was a soldier and deserves to be remembered as a fallen warrior, not a damn victim.
He died fighting in the US armed forces which he "volunteered" for.
If I were that dumb cow's son, I'd do whatever it took to get to the other side of the planet.
Because Dan Rather said so.
Note the difference in names between mother and son. She's Niederer and he's Dvorin.
This is a common element of this particular kind of liberal rant, where the sons serve honorably but the parent- usually just the one- tries to crap on their service and their cause.
Her son didn't deserve her. Any woman who would use her own child's death for politics is twisted.
I wonder what many of these anti-war Moms and anti-war protestors would have done if we were fighting WWII. If they had their way, we'd all be speaking German now.
I thank him, his family, all our soldiers and all their families for their service and sacrifice to protect our country.
Wow. Kerry's current B.O.B's ain't exactly the Howlin Commandos, eh? Nice blurb!
This woman, Sue Niederer, is the same person who confronted Rr. Raoul on one of his Freeps.

Niederer is supposedly a friend of Code Pink, the virulent anti-American group who promotes socialist-communist causes.
Please add Dan Rather to your list - couldn't make the grade in the Marines.
That is about as tastless of a comment as I have seen in a serious posting here at FR.
He was killed because he placed himself in harms way to defend and protect the cause of freedom. A soldier is accutely aware of the consequences that serving entails.
Thank God he saw his Mother's flaws, and made a decision to correct them.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Why don't they ever answer these people's rants?
Do they want the answer?
Just once they should stop their speech and let them know the answer:
Simple:
-Attacked,raped and looted Kuwait
-kicked out the inspectors
-shot at our planes
-tried to assasinate ex-pres. Bush
-cheered in the streets on 911
-pays terrorist to kill Jews
-Chemical weapons on his own people
-needed a war field to fight these terrorist over "there"
-needed to make sure terrorist don't hide in Iraq since Afghanistan is no longer available
-his sons were raping and torturing as goverment officials
-Clinton told us they had weapons of mass destruction
-France won't let us fly over there land, we needed more fly zones.
-we don't trust them
-during wartime when individuals all over the world are trying to kill Americans, we can't afford to have a dictator thumbing his nose at us!
Heh heh heh heh...good one!
That is the one thing that has always "blown" me away. It started out with Mikey Moore saying "would you send you children to Iraq". My answer, (after a sucker punch to the face) would be, this is America. If they are 18 and enlist, they accept the duties of an armed service person, and there would be nothing I could do about it. If they are 17 and under, it would be illegal you fat bastard to send them anywhere. Not even by UPS, FedEx or DHL you bloated pussbag. But, anyhow. I am sorry to see that a fine young man gave his life to his country so his Mother would not be shot for doing what she did.
People need to realize the military is much more than a college scholarship program.
I'm sorry for her loss, and it was really for a noble cause, despite what her grief and opportunistic Democrats might be telling her.
Her son, Seth Dvorin, was killed in Iraq in early February.
Dvorin's father, who happens to be a great guy, is a former detective from New Brunswick, NJ. (or it might be North Brunswick)
The father remains truly proud of his son, and expressed some shame to the local media about his ex-wife, who continues to go around the country throwing dirt on her son's memory.
I am astonished that someone at the Laura Bush rally in Hamilton, NJ did not recognize Sue Niederer and prevent her from getting inside.
Niederer must have obtained a ticket through a friend because I don't think the Mercer County GOP organization would have given her one.
