So is the criminal mind attracted to the porn or does the porn create the criminal mind?
Cool.... can we all post our graduate theses on FR now?
This reeks of agenda.
B+
I don't care what you say, I paid good money for my copy of Virtual Jeese Jane and I ain't sending it back.
That's beneath you.

This guy's gotta be a big fan of the burka. Any idea the percentage of embezzlers who have a hidden stack of porn?
I prefer lesbian porn, personally.
I'm guessing this is the shortened version, I wish you had posted the unabridged version.....................................................................NOT!
Isn't there a 17,000 word-count posting limit? :)
Since now that anyone with a computer and an internet connection can look at porn, and I venture to say a lot have, we should have a thousand fold increase in sex crimes. I don't believe that is the case on a per-capita basis.
Then FR is most definitely pornography. Or do you think the bikini threads, multiple postings of pictures on Ann Coulter/Laura Ingraham threads, etc. are just because we admire their minds?
The real issue here, it seems to me, is not pornography, it's puritanism. The article seems to see all pornography as violent/aggressive, when a majority is in fact 'vanilla', and a fair chunk of the rest is masochistic rather than sadistic.
Ooooh, that sounds almost like pornography! Give it a rest Tailgunner.
That being said, I am not calling for censorship. I wish that men would stop looking at porn because they want to be moral. Then the industry would collapse on its own.
(...and this was typed in Courier, so you know that it's true!)
That was disturbing, but thanks for posting it. Kinda makes you wonder about the people that surround you.
You can have my Jenna Jameson DVDs when you pry them from my cold, sticky fingers, boy-o.
"If we accept ... the well nigh universal belief that good books, plays and art lift the spirit, improve the mind, enrich the human personality, and develop character, can we then say that a state legislature may not act on the corollary assumption that commerce in obscene books, or public exhibitions focused on obscene conduct, have a tendency to exert a corrupting and debasing impact leading to anti-social behavior? 'Many of these effects may be intangible and indistinct, but they are nonetheless real.'"
Well stated. The effect of pornography on the will cannot be measured scientifically since the human will cannot be measured. The idea that the effect of pornography on the will can be measured is a category error since the will is an aspect of the soul, which is a spiritual substance.
