Thanks for the ping. As I've been pointing out on the Hannity debate, people misunderstand how we operate. There are lots of bright people on Free Republic, each with their own niche expertise. Eating our own is part of what makes this system great. A topic comes up, you get experts on both sides and they mentally dual to the death for hundreds of posts. Even if a consensus doesn't emerge, the subject has been beaten to death in all its many permutations. That isn't what happens in the MSM where primadonnas with communications degrees see who can display a better hairdoo.
I'm an exceptionally bright fellow, but I get my butt kicked all the time here if I stray from my expertise. but I don't cry about it, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. We have better things to do here than worry if someone's feelings have been hurt.
