David Van Os is a big player in Texas Democrat politics. He ran for head of the Donk party there and is a highly visible player. He is not just any old attorney, as I had thought until yesterday.

I thought the same thing. Perhaps the DNC is funding Van Os to the tune of $500 an hour from its slush fund.

Or maybe he is doing a little Taylor County (Abilene) pro-bono work for the local Democratic Party.
