If you read some of the statements from this guy posted elsewhere you will see he isn't "the sharpest tool in the shed".
"The problem is, Burkett's had two mental breakdowns and, in the only inteview I've heard, he comes across as completely nuts."
In other words your typical DEMOCRAT
"Nutcase" bump
Dan isn't getting much sleep lately. He values his reputation more than anything and he's become a feeble laughing stock and poster boy for liberal bias in the news.
LOL!!!

Has this story up.
You can continue to ping me as you see fit.....
Fox is now reporting this uncovered information.
Not to mention the PO Box number.....Sheesh. Not too bright.
"OK who is Bill Burkett? I suspect he's a GOP operative, since he's from Texas."
Not just any old GOP operative. He is in fact Carl Rove. One of the wily Carl's many fully backgrounded aliases.
I thought that these documents were seen 6 weeks ago by CBS and other outlets, including the DNC and McPaper?
So basically CBS has been working with this guy for a half a year listening to his gripes and feeding him the preferential treatment story and document destruction story. Eventually they got around to saying, if only there were memo's to support this we could run with it. Do you think you could find the "destroyed" memo's. Burkett does the rest, CBS "wants to believe" so they run the story without realizing Burkett typed them up on his computer based on "recollections" of memo's that likely never existed, but instead are manufactured memories created by the constant leading questioning of the left media.

My gut tells me that the document seen in the CBS pdfs has not been faxed more than once. I have staff fax me faxes of faxes all the time and the quality degrades substantially.
Unless the drives were formatted, the data is still recoverable. The FBI does this all the time. And since this is a case of forgering of US Military documents........
Bill Burkett is an ex Texas National Guard member who said he contracted some jungle fever type problem while in the guard. The National guard said it didn't happen that way and the man went nuts. He has been in and out of the hospital and at least 2 of these were for mental problems. Burkett's name has been coming up in my area for days now because he had threaten then governor Bush back in the mid-'90s if he didn't help him get his benefits. A footnote, Burkett said he contracted this fever while on secret mission to South America and the Guard said he never was in South America
How do I know this stuff, I live only 40 miles from Mr Burketts ranch. He lives in Baird, TX which is 25 miles east of Abilene.
I had great plans to go up to Burkett's "Black Oak Cattle Ranch" this morning and take pictures and play like I was one of the reporters to see what else I could find out, but health issues just wouldn't allow me to drive there alone.
I have been trying to call Mr Burkett since last evening and his phone has been off the hook. I plan on watching KTAB TV out of Abilene at noon to see what the latest is. KTAB is the CBS station by the way and very loyal. lol
I will keep you informed if I come up with any more local lore or info on this man.
Nothing really if others beyond this talk show guy have called and confirmed he was there. So, I won't.
"Wonder if he offhandedly made any admissions against interest to any of the clerks and regulars?"
Gee, can someone help me scan this signature and put it on this other page ...?
