Unbelievable.
A woman on Nightline from New Orleans just said that they don't have enough money to properly prepare for floods "I guess because of the war in Iraq." Her words. She went on to say that they needed the money for the war against mother nature--the most important war we'll have to fight.
Nightline actually ran that. No proof that that is the case--nor could there be since New Orleans had this problem for over a hundred years before the war in Iraq.
Completely irresponsible.
That is unbelievable.

If they would spend less money on typical "entitlement" programs, they'd have more for natural disasters. I bet there are all sorts of bogus programs to help keep the welfare mongers as "good clients" creating ongoing "demand" for case workers and other good-for-nothings. Meanwhile, the beat cops, nurses and firemen have to scrimp. Liberalism - it is a disease.
