I lurked on Free Republic for hours and hours, almost every day, from late 1997-early 1998 till 2002. Amazing isn't it? :)
Are you kidding? FR is a breath of fresh air in a world of liberal spin -- mainly as an alternative news source -- not to mention the kick-a** entertaining threads.
I confess, I too was a lurker for several years -- didn't understand the mechanics of posting and felt my perspective was already covered so to speak. I didn't start posting until a few weeks ago; (just couldn't help myself any longer I guess..)
