Sounds like he works for the parent company of CBS, Viacom, on his radio show which is on Westwood. Viacom has a stake in Westwood.
Laura was mentioning that on her show this morning. So this could explain some of his reluctance wrt RaTHer.

Seriously, I stopped watching O'Reilly a year or two ago. I think Arthel Neville used to prick that ever-expanding head that O'Reilly has today, and keep him a little grounded. While she was a hopeless Liberal, she did serve to keep him a little humble. I don't think anyone has filled that role, and O'Reilly just really, really needs a court jester doing so.

Why would anyone want to watch MSM. The news they pipe is what they feel is newsworthy. They dont care whats really goining on. Why cant our local news show more. Why dont I get debates about my governer race or senate? How about my state rep or senate for the state debating the issues, I want to hear mny canadites. The president only signs bills to law. It has to get to the president first.

O'Reilly Jumped the Shark. He is an old Friend of Rather's. He has been negotiating with him since Monday to get him to come on the show. O'Reilly has no questions of value to ask RAther, they all have been answered by independent investigations by dozens of other News Agencies with FACTS to back them up.
All O'Reilly will do is give Dan a forum to lie thru his teeth and have O'Reilly endorse it, because Bill thinks Dan wouldn't lie!
Negotiate? WTF is that all about. Dan is supposedly an Network NEWS ANCHOR. Why the need to negotiate, unless there is something Dan is hiding?
Got news for you bill DAN HAS LIED REPEATEDLY. Check his record. The only difference is there wasn't a accessable record nor an avenue to readily check the facts in the past.
Now EVERYONE can see for themselves what is fact or fiction and not have to rely on FRAUDS or Partisan Hacks like Dan Rather for the "news".

My granddad died in 1994 but gave me all the things he's saved - medals, ribbons, dog tags & uniform.
I wrote down what he felt like talking about, but he also gave me his war diary.
