Oh, if Dan is interviewing the elderly secretrary in a desperate act of trying to get some living soul to say on the record that although the memos are fake the sentiments therein "reflect" what Killian thought, then CBS has decided he can stay.
The whole outfit is complicit then.

My take is they were planning on having Rather make the announcement....When he didn't show up....and no one was able to get him on the cell....they delayed.....They are still trying to locate him.....THus the helicopters are out searching.....;^)
