This waiting and waiting and waiting....this reminds me of a "teaser" they keep putting into the 11 p.m. local TV news in most cities in the US.
You know, something randy and eye-catching like "in a moment, famous local politician busted in massage parlour ring, news coming up.", and keep saying that after every five minutes, right before the commercials. Finally, in the final three minutes of the show, they finally air some insignificant news story that has nothing to do with what they had promised. But you enjoyed all those commercials while waiting, didn't you??
I think CBS is acting this way to make the suspense even higher, to get as much viewership as possible, and then they will come off with some other lame excuse for what happened, trying to stain the blogs in the process--to the widest possible audience. It will only fly back in their faces, though.
