ATC (IIRC, Altitude Control Center) in Palmdale has a radio failure, apprently first caused by a power problem (likely a commuter car hitting a power pole, if things are like normal up in that area.) The radios came up for a moment a few minutes ago, then failed again. At this time, most southwest airports are expecting four hours of delay due to this problem.

Ground stop ordered by FAA, most flights not flying, some aircraft in the air have no communications, according to reports..

This is rather hard to believe.
