I am troubled by the ETHICS of using a "trial site" (designed by honest business to sell a product and make a living) in such a "dishonest" way!

IF you paid for the bandwidth, then it is ok - but you are, in fact, stealing bandwidth from this person.

ONLY scumbag lawyers would disagree with me trying to say "it wasn't written so ..."

SHAME! (to quote an earlier story on here!)

(Sigh)
I am using the trial site for the very simple reason that Kerry's Lawyers shut down sites that carry the book. The majority of sites that carry the book carry a synopsis only, that's why my file is so much bigger.

I do understand your point about using the site for a non-intended purpose- but since the Internet's bigggest use, and therefore biggest bandwidth user, is for pornography I hardly feel that the small amount of bandwidth I/we use in this quest for spreading truth to be significant. If the company didn't want to take that chance they should not offer the service. Many of those sites are used for trading banned pornography, as it's untraceable, or at least, very difficult to trace. Does the company screen for content? I will be using that company's sites in the future for other purposes, largely due to the ease of use of their software/hosting products. I feel that will be adequate compensation. It's like going to a bar that offers free food for happy hour. Some people use them to eat for free and don't drink. But enough do that the practice continues.

While we're splitting hairs- what about CBS's use of the public airwaves to spread lies and forgeries? I use electricity at home ( a public utility) to watch televsion. Will CBS give me a refund of the electricity I used?
