No I don't want the government to dictate what the media can say,but surely there can be some balance so that they can't ouright lie in the face of all contrary evidence with impunity? The media has the power to affect elections in this country,and THAT'S scary too,if they can't be held accountable in some balanced way for their words,when they're outright lies.

isn't there a problem with forging a FEDERAL document?

why wouldn't some federal agency attempt to look into this...

wait, since they were TANG forgeries, I guess it would be state government - so that would be the Attorney General of Texas?
