Thanks
Yep, I agree with you I hate to see them get away with it to....but I'll guess we'll see on November 2nd
and personally I think CBS is all ready awash with fake documents up to their eye-balls ;-)
The White House should step up and ask for the originals from CBS for independent authentication. It would screw CBS big time because they probably don't have originals, and even based copies, the weight of independent verfication of the forgeries would flush the rats out of CBS' sinking ship.
Well actually those T33 hours were flown at his home base in Texas and that was before he went to Alabama
You can say whatever you want as a citizen but to put out false statements backed up by forged government documents and report it as news (not an opinion mind you) doesn't cross any lines with you?
If it could be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Dan knowingly participated in a forgery then I'd gladly see him behind bars(and it wouldn't require any new laws to do so--forgery is already a crime). But I don't think that's what happened, and even if I did, it would be impossible to prove it. If you define interfering with an election as lying about your opposition, and think it should be a crime, then the jails would be overflowing with politicians and pundits of all political persuasions and eras. What's a lot more scary to me than the prospect of Dan Rather lying to influence someone's vote is the prospect of a government (possibly run by President Hillary) being able to decide whether Rush Limbaugh and Brit Hume are lying to influence someone's vote.
ROTFLMPO! (That's rolling on the floor laughing my pajamas off!)
The only way Dan can redeem his reputation is to don a raincoat and go give live coverage of the arrival of Hurricane Ivan at Bienville Beach on Dauphin Island just outside Mobile Bay, Alabama. Everyone in Journalism would memorialize his heroic final report.
You're kidding. 9/11 they ran that crap? Where would I be without cable? (The old folks home?)
Now before you go dissing pajama people, you need to see this hilarious thread posted last night: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1213807/posts
But a copy CAN be debunked!
Two different songs. One is Randy Newman's "Short People" the other is Zappa's "Pajama People".
We will now spend the next week or so trying to get Rather to come clean while he uses his platform to continue to attack Bush under the guise of defending the authenticity of the memoranda. Rather and the Dems have now defined the framework for the debate and it is all about Bush's NG service.
FYI. Lower case L (l)was sometimes used for the number 1.
Woohoo! That's FUNNY!!! My nomination as the latest addition to the FReeper Lexicon!!!
The animation is to illustrate that the lowercase L was not used in the memos.
"Wonder how many millions have no idea who Epstein's mother is."
20-somethings for sure. Probably the younger half of 30-somethings...
You've really dated yourself. As well as all us old f**ks that know who Epstiens mother is. hahaha
It's not mine. It's derived from a very funny thread posted last night "Dan vs. The Pajama People"

He turned out to be even dumber than I thougt! Instead of keeping his yap shut about the forgeries, he dug himself in deeper. What a pants-load.
