If its mid-September, and the Left is not ahead, something must seriously be awry. Perhaps, the Manchurian Spouse, that's Heinz Kerry to the outsourced, was right when she recently said "only an idiot" would fail to support her husband's health care plan." What I don't understand is why she stopped there. After all, her husband has been campaigning for over a year and he's behind. Surely not supporting him would make us worse than that.
The truth is, the Left has not stopped at labeling non-believers idiots and they are in a near panic. Looking for solid evidence of that? Lets review:
1. If it wasn't legit, how come CBS bit? Forget for a moment that for the memos to be real, a non-typist needed to have nearly the most expensive typewriter in world. The real story is that those posthumously written "memos" added virtually no information to what was known about Bush. The world knew Bush didn't take the physical. Yet, so hungry was Rather and CBS to go after Bush, so desperate to recycle Nat'l Guard stories a 3rd time, that they staked their reputation and ratings on the possibility that a commander told Bush to take that physical. So lazy was the corrupt person on the Left who made the memo, that he/she couldn't take the time to scare up an old typewriter to make the forgery - perhaps they were in a panic to meet a deadline?
Credit them this: the Major Media is following ideology over profits. No capitalists them. It is common knowledge that Fox news has transformed network news, is in many less homes, and yet millions more watched the Republican convention on Fox than the other Networks.

Kerry's #1 argument for winning the primary was electability. The only thing that will keep his campaign afloat is the belief that he can or will be elected. When that is called into doubt there is little loyalty left to him. A Dem voter might very well decide to say "screw it, why should I bother going to polls for a guy who is going to lose" or they'll decide that if they're going to vote for a loser they damn well will vote for the loser who represents their beliefs and they'll vote for Nader. The Dems know this and that's why they're in a big panic.

Thanks for the post.
I went to the site since this was an excerpt and boy is it hard to read.
White bold type on a textured blue background. Not a good choice.
Good stuff but you have to be determined to read it.

I'd be willing to bet Laura's good for 3 percentage points. I have a friend of over 30 years, a card-carrying Democrat who has worked for several local Democrat legislators. He won't vote for Bush and says he can't vote for Kerry. So he's voting for Laura, because Teresa as First Lady "would be a disaster".

John Ewards is invisible of late.... I noticed that too, seems like he's been gone for several weeks. I wonder if it's his choice or Kerry's?

"Just how crazy are they right now?"
I have had the same thoughts. It is clear that the level of desperation mixed with hate has risen to ominous dimensions. The democrap party has become a boiling toxic stew in which all trappings of civilization, all boundaries and impulse control are melting down.
Algore's infantile rages are emblematic, but also closer to the norm than the exception.
In his book "They Misunderestimated Me" Bill Sammon describes the violence directed at the President in Portland Oregon in 2002 when GW was there for a fundraiser.
The mob actually was able to divert the motorcade from its route and members of the Secret Service were on the verge of drawing firearms.
Let us face a grim fact: These Kerry people include domestic terrorists who would gladly kill GW and his family if they could, and they are not just Arab fanatics. They are also Americans born and raised-- college professors and students, union thugs and ABA shysters, abortionists and hardcore communists. And they are even more deranged than they were in 2002.
I expect some preplanned violence, possibly surrounding one of the debates. These vermin will attempt to disrupt the election process, just as their collaborators in AlQaeda would do if they could. I fully expect someone to get killed before this election is over.
And it won't be "hitherto unknown terrorist groups." It will be the McAuliffes and McDermotts and Soros's of the country behind it, with suitable "plausible deniability."
As Kerry's little garbage barge takes on more water and begins to sink beneath the waves, the rats will lose all restraint, because they will have nothing left to lose.

I think it means much more .. I think the "shove it" person reminds people of Hillary .. and they don't want any part of it.

I think Kerry gets jealous when Edwards is talking more than he is when they are together.

Edwards has not been entirely invisible. In an example of impeccable timing, he came out and demanded that GWB answer question about the CBS memos about the time they were being exposed as bogus. It was probably part of a pre-arranged setup. CBS does their expose' and then the dems, in a coordinated effort put pressure on GWB to answer the charges, putting him in the defensive.
Unfortunately, (for them), the whole scam was short circuited by alert citizens who noticed the irregularities in the memos.

The real story is that those posthumously written "memos" added virtually no information to what was known about Bush. The world knew Bush didn't take the physical. Credit them this: the Major Media is following ideology over profits. No capitalists them. It is common knowledge that Fox news has transformed network news, is in many less homes, and yet millions more watched the Republican convention on Fox than the other Networks. In the face of that stiff competition, any reasonable business person would analyze that competition and attempt to improve their product or service to stop the erosion of their market share. So what has big media done in the face of this competition? Rather than attempt to bridge the gap, the Major Media has become more shrill than ever. Lower ratings be damned.
2. It's the Advisor Stupid. Bill Clinton from a hospital bed wasn't enough. You know your message isn't, well, a message, when you have to call in the likes of Paul Begala and James Carville. It's the Medicare hike, Stupid! Oops. Kerry voted for the law that mandated the hike and against President Bush's massive Medicare expansion. It's the rich not paying enough taxes, Stupid! Oops. Kerry only paid 12% in 2003. Back to character assassinations: Chris Lehane must be around here somewhere.
3. Tabloid time. The far Left, Kerry that is, for weeks has demanded that Bush talk about the issues. NBC has decided to oblige Kerry this week by talking to a Kitty for three days. Never mind that her sources are abandoning her nearly as fast as CBS' sources. These are very serious rumors! Forgive me for this, but their theory must be: If you can't beat President Bush, you have to beat the bush for a tabloid story.
4. Common Good. There are thousands of DNC lawyers lurking among your states. Waiting to determine whether Bush's victory exceeds the margin of litigation. Perhaps Hillary was talking about voting when she said: "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
And the sure sign you are dialing 1-800-PANIC:
5. If it's no longer a race, it's time to talk about race. Its only September but John Kerry is starting to play the race card. He told a minority group that the Republicans would attempt to suppress their vote. Can the vast Republican conspiracy to end Social Security be far behind? Chris Lehane really must be around here somewhere.
Seriously though, even some on the Left are conceding Kerry won't be around after November 2nd. So don't panic.
